Bad Blogger

I am so bad. I have gone OVER a month without blogging. I've been spending too much time on Yahoo groups and neglecting my blog. So to correct that, I'll put selected clips from the various groups and post them here.

Here are some random thoughts from an article Dave Blakeslee posted from the NY Times on "covert evanglism" on the web:

My question for discussion - where does "covert evangelism" change into authentic religious expression? Is www.creed.com a covert religious site because they put up the band members questions about religion? I think not. How can we as Christians reclaim a Christian Conversation in the public square without being accused (sometimes correctly) with being covert evangelists? Since my Christianity (and my curious mix of both/and pomoxianity/fundyism) is an authentic expression of who I am, why am I hit from both sides (politically correct fundies and agnostics) for expressing myself in terms that are real to me? Gamaliel is about the only vehicle I've found - aside from these forums - where I can state who I am in a way that is (somewhat) inoffensive yet addresses the substantive issues I care about.
